In an industry that is not only highly visual and tactile but also extremely exclusive, it was vital the identity represent Martin’s formidable industry reputation and sit comfortably with the most luxurious brands in the world.
Rather than start with a formal brief, we defined the core parameters: completely unique, instantly recognisable and conveying excellence – whilst referencing Martin’s signature style of subtle opulence.
The resulting concept was then developed into a complete stationery suite using bespoke colours, foiling and gilt edging. Felix&Friends applied the identity to all corporate communications, developing the MKD website and also a house jacquard from the logo.
