News UK is part of News Corp – a global, diversified media and information services company with leading UK newspaper titles The Times, The Sunday Times and The Sun. In an increasingly challenging media environment, remaining competitive and innovative is crucial to success, in particular successfully selling the titles to brands and media buyers.
Our brief was to showcase the brands under the News UK banner to brands and media buyers, selling the benefits each title has to offer – the draw of the columnists, the quality of the content, and the unmatched reach of the suite of titles – setting News UK apart from the competition.
Drawing on our experience of working with media brands we stressed the importance of functionality and simplicity because whilst this was a marketing project, it would ultimately be used by the sales team, including the newly created native ad division whose function is to partner with brands to create
We created a flexible site which met all the requirements of the brief, enabling News UK to not only manage content but also evolve the site structure as their needs and requirements changed.
