Felix&Friends created the environmental and signage design for the Human Body Gallery within the Melbourne Museum. The challenge of the brief was to clearly designate the three exhibition spaces (each exploring a differnet aspect to create an interesting, tactile space for adults and children to learn.
The project required the team to adhere to strict type specifications and hierarchies whilst maintaining a sense of continuity, interest and integrity throughout. Art directing and designing all surfaces within the gallery from concept through to completion with writers, curators, photographers and business consultants.
The project required managing and presenting design concepts, briefing clients, coordinating staff and managing demanding deadlines throughout the 18 month project. Legibility, readability and dynamism were paramount to the final product’s success, given the scale of the project.
